We have a streamlined, no-pressure, education-based sales process that you can learn in 1 week. On top of a great short sale, we are an amazing bunch of people to work with! We believe in working hard but having a good time in doing so.  

Basic Function: To sell the company’s services to the public so as to generate a quality product for the client and profit for the company. 

1.  Communication: 

  • Maintains regular communication with the division manager, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business. 

  • Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with clients in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc. 

  • Assures that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.) 

  • Maintains open communication with Jr. Head Installers, Head Installers, Crew Leaders and Field Supervisors, in order to remain knowledgeable of jobs and teams. 

  • Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner. 

  • Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits. 

2.  Sales and Estimating Responsibilities 

  • Attends all estimates on time. 

  • Calls all clients prior to arriving at estimate 

  • Prices new opportunities while meeting with the client at current production rates.  

  • A client must receive their estimate within 24 hours of the onsite visit if it is not left during the initial visit.  

  • Returns incoming phone calls in a professional manner and within 8 business hours of call. 

  • Provides product differentiation and solutions to client throughout selling process (assists client in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product.) 

  • Effectively sells the company’s services to the client in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the clients’ needs and selling to satisfy those needs.  

  • Helps jobs stay “happy and under.”  

  • Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on ALL open bids.  Get’s a “yes” or a “no” on all bids regardless of price or scope.  

  • Strive to target and market the most profitable jobs 

  • Explore all options and products available with every client for their situation. 

  • Prioritizes work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals (see next page) 

  • Maintain closing a minimum sales metric of 45% Close Rate, 45% Dollars Sold and an average job size of $1,400. 

  • Develops a well thought out prospecting plan focusing on generating leads for the company.  

  • Participates in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote company. 

  • Stops regularly at obvious potential clients or sites where gutter damage is evident or gutter related services are being performed, such as roofing or siding. 

  • Track every estimate using the provided Sales Tracker. Keep up to date with accurate and honest tracking. Sales tracking worksheets are completed in their entirety before every sales meeting.  

3. Other Responsibilities. 

  • Demonstrates positive leadership through all actions with all employees. 

  • Attends all meetings on time and participates. 

  • Works the necessary hours per week and perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner. 

  • Assists in the development and implementation of new systems, helping to maintain and increase the company’s profitability and organization as it changes and grows. 

  • Assists in problem solving and implementing solutions. 

  • Participates in planning company growth and development and supports company mission by following through on initiatives. 


Commission 
4% of all sales
Commission paid once client pays in full
1% Bonus for hitting monthly sales goal
Potential for 5% commission for all sales for the month when hitting or exceeding sales goal.
Must have signed contract & deposit to qualify for Sales Bonus
